Brian Simpson

Brian is currently the VP of Product Development at Thinktiv.

In the creative realm there is not a whole lot that Brian has not had his hand in. His passion for computers, cartoons and drawing lead him to pursue a degree in Media Arts and Animation from the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. While attending art school he was also introduced to commercial graphic design, video production, sound design, and interactive media. After a 6 year career as a 2D and 3D animator Brian decided to take his animation skills and apply them to rich media web sites and online E-learning course development. Brian has worked with a broad range of clientele ranging from record labels and nationally recognized entertainers to collegiate online education platforms and city developers. Brian received national recognition as a finalist in the 2009 SXSW (South By Southwest) Interactive awards for his design work for the website iamsecond.com. Brian is a sports fanatic, occasionally rides a bright yellow scooter, paints pretty pictures and can usually be found at a wide assortment of coffee shops during the week or floating in Barton Springs here in Austin on the weekends.
